Music is a calling on every Christian’s life. The Word of God makes it plain that we are all called to minister to the Lord in music. There are, however, certain individuals who have been called by God to minister not just to Him, but also to His church, and to the world. This is a high calling, and should be taken seriously. Music is ministry, but it is also an art, it is a science, and it is a skill. A Christian called into the music ministry must develop his abilities if he is to serve the Lord most effectively.

This is what Rejoice is all about! It is not simply a music training centre, nor is it a Bible school for musicians. Rejoice is a school where you can obtain the tools and skills required to be effective in the music ministry of a Local Church. You will be in an atmosphere where you will be encouraged and inspired to develop your gifts to their highest possible level for the glory of God.

Although there are many universities or similar institutions where you can learn about music, Rejoice will give you something you couldn’t find anywhere else: a practical insight into the role music and musicians play in a Local Church. We at Rejoice have the conviction that any ministry that will impact the world effectively will flow through and be submitted to the Local Church. What better place to learn that than at a growing, active church where God is moving mightily by His Spirit and His Word!
