So...reality is finally setting in, and the novelty is long gone.
I have a moustache... It stares at me every time I brush my teeth. I try to avoid making any eye contact, but my mirror is just too big! At first it was a novelty, a fun idea, a whim. But now, it's pure reality. A purely dark reality. (Cue the moody muzik please!)
My brother is always smirking at me. My wife is great about it, but...umm...yeah...
Reality has certainly set in...and it's going to be a looooonnnnggggg month. The icing on the cake is that it's like -35 outside, so it feels like March is never going to disappear.
But the funny thing about reality is that it isn't always what you see. In the case of the stache, it is what you see. But when it comes to trouble, circumstances and problems, GOD'S reality is the ultimate reality!
In other words, things can look one way (discouraging, etc), but anything that does not line up to God's Word is not final and is subject to change. Our faith transports God's ultimate reality into our lives.
The reality is that this stache won't be on my face for long, and -35 won't last... So keep your REALITY in check...and remember that God's Word gives you authority to change it...
