And on the 8th day, God made pizza.

So I was eating some pizza for lunch today (gotta love Hot Meal Day's, right?), and I got to thinking that God is so cool...giving us pizza and all...

I think the people that invented pizza probably got the idea right after a church service.

Let's just be honest, there are few things in life better than pizza. You can eat it hot. You can eat it cold. You can eat it on a plate. You can eat it out of the box. It can be circular. It can be square. It can be rectangular. The possibilities are limitless!!!

And the best part is...it's ALWAYS good!!!

It doesn't even matter what you put on it (with the major exception of pineapples...the devil came up with that idea...so just resist it!).

So my lunch kind of transported me to a better place. It warmed my heart...and inspired a blog! That, my dear teens, is the power of pizza.

And to top it all off (pun not intended), I received a very timely e-mail this afternoon. The school staff informed me that they, in fact, had left over pizza's that they needed to sell at a discounted price. God was surely smiling on me today!!! So I obviously had no choice by to quickly reply and purchase a pepperoni pie!!!

And so, as the story goes, I ended up eating yet more pizza for supper!

God is good, dear teens...God is good.

Pizza is definitely worth writing about.
Also, I agree that pineapple on pizza was definitely NOT God-inspired.
