Golden

Have you ever watched the golden sun slowly descend behind the western horizon? Have you ever gazed through the semi-perfect round holes of golden honey-nut Cherrios? Have you ever repainted your bedroom with the gloriously golden colour labelled Buoyant Banana? Have you ever trampled through Grandpa's golden fields a few weeks before harvest? If you've answered a resounding YES to any of these questions...you're a very interesting person.

For real...GOLDEN is the colour that glows on champions. GOLD is what every person desires as they navigate their way through life. GOLD is what every athlete aims to win. Well, our church school's (CCA) volleyball team has just turned golden...as they finished 1st Place in their very own Eagles Invitational Volleyball Tounament! Congradulations!!! We are proud that these fine and Godly ladies have worked so hard and have already accomplished so much this season.

But it's not all over...there are only a few more weeks of volleyball for the 2008/2009 season, and if the outcome resembles anything like their hearts, I think that the future looks golden too! We'll all be praying for you girls...
