For several years, Saskatoon Christian Centre has been presenting Easter Musicals, dramatising the past, present, and future ministry of Jesus Christ. Our productions regularly involve well over 100 people from our congregation, using music, drama, and multimedia to bring to life the reality of His message of life and hope. All our musicals are original, with the script and music written by Kevin and Anne MacMillan, with a geat deal of help from our drama director, Steve Kitchen, and his wife, June.

Face to Face

This year, we presented Face to Face, which is an expanded version of the same musical originally presented in 2007. Face to Face shows you how Jesus, the man, personally changed so many lives when He was with us on earth. Watch as Jesus is baptised by His cousin John. See the midnight exchange between Him and Nicodemus, and experience the power of His death and resurrection. Take a journey with the men, women and children whose lives were changed by their face-to-face encounter with the love of God.

Yesterday, Today, and Forever

Yesterday, Today and Forever takes you through history to see the wonders of our unchanging God. He is the same Redeemer, Deliverer, Healer and Provider that He has always been. With over 25 original songs, gripping drama, multimedia, and a cast of 90 singers, actors and musicians, the audience experiences God’s love, forgiveness and power through the ages. In 6 different sequences we see God move through Old Testament, New Testament and modern history. From the deliverance of the 3 Hebrew children from the fiery furnace, to God’s saving power during the Battle of Britain, to His healing power sweeping Argentina in 1954, we encounter the reality of Jesus Christ throughout the ages.  Visit an English orphanage where the Lord daily provides everything that is ever needed. Enter the Ravensbruck concentration camp and experience the forgiveness that only Jesus Christ can supply. Be one of the 5,000 fed by Jesus’ disciples on the Sea of Galilee and come and see for yourself the resurrection life of Jesus Christ.

The Fullness of Time

On March 20-22 2008, Saskatoon Christian Centre presented The Fullness of Time. An expanded version of the 2006 presentation, The Fullness of Time shows how God is faithful to bring to pass the promises which He spoke many hundreds of years before. Our cast of over 100 actors, singers, and musicians did a wonderful job of dramatising the fulfillment of His greatest promise, the first coming of His Son, Jesus. We had en excellent turnout for the 4 performances, with over 1,000 visitors.
