City Centre Church was born out of revival at Saskatoon Christian Centre. As God moved in the hearts of His people at Christian Centre, the desire to touch those in Saskatoon's inner city increased and outreach services began in November, 2001. We quickly outgrew our first facility at 1410 - 20th Street West as dozens of families found their way to this new work. After moving into a larger facility in the summer of 2002, City Centre Outreach became City Centre Church, under the leadership of Pastor Jim Randall. Today, the ministry is growing and a solid core group of people have made this church their home.
Saskatoon's inner city has been called the "Harlem of the Prairies" by the Toronto Globe and Mail in an article that described the drugs, crime, gangs & many other problems that have been prevalent & growing for decades. However, where darkness once abounded, the light of the Gospel is now shining brightly, as the kingdom of God is increasing every week. A faithful team of believers from Saskatoon Christian Centre continue to serve regularly at the inner-city ministry, and the new church is growing into a place where it too will make an impact not just on the inner city, but on many locations throughout the nation as the Lord leads.
